Terms of Service

1.About this agreement#

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Sherz website, mobile app, and related services. By creating an account or holding a membership, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Sherz.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make a material change we will tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect.

2.Who can join#

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Nigerian law to hold a membership.

• One membership covers a single household at one delivery address.
• The details you give us, including your name, phone number, and address, must be accurate and kept up to date.
• You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, so keep your password private.

3.Membership and plans#

Membership gives you access to pooled wholesale pricing. Each plan sets how many shopping profiles you can keep and what delivery options are available. Current plans and prices are listed on the Plans page.

A membership period starts on the day your payment is confirmed. At the end of the period your membership lapses unless you choose to renew it. We never renew or charge you automatically.

4.Monthly drafts and orders#

On each cycle date we turn your saved list into a priced draft order. A draft is a quote. It becomes an order only when you review it, approve it, and pay.

• You can add, remove, or change quantities on a draft before you approve it.
• If an item is unavailable, we mark it on the draft and do not charge you for it.
• Drafts you do not approve before the cycle closes expire, and nothing is charged.

5.Pricing and payment#

All prices are in Nigerian naira (₦) and include VAT where it applies. Wholesale prices move with the market, so the price of an item can change from one cycle to the next. Each draft shows the previous cycle's price beside the current one.

Payments are processed by Paystack. We do not store your full card details. By paying, you also accept Paystack's own terms for that transaction.

6.Delivery and collection#

You choose a delivery window for your zone or a depot collection slot when you approve a draft. We aim to meet every window, but traffic, weather, and supplier delays can affect timing. If we expect to miss your window we will contact you.

Someone must be available to receive the delivery. Please check your items when they arrive and report any problem within 48 hours. The Refund Policy explains how we resolve it.

7.Acceptable use#

• Do not resell goods bought through Sherz as a commercial trader without a written agreement with us.
• Do not interfere with, scrape, or try to gain unauthorised access to our services.
• Do not use false payment details or another person's account.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond first.

8.Cancelling your membership#

You can cancel at any time from Settings. Cancelling stops future drafts. Orders you have already approved and paid for will still be delivered.

9.Our responsibility to you#

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act or any other law that cannot be excluded.

10.Governing law and disputes#

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If a dispute comes up, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it together. If we cannot, the courts of Lagos State will have jurisdiction.
